As the stakes grow higher, Seok-woo, Temujin, and their allies embark on a perilous journey across the Korean Peninsula, fighting to survive and prevent the zombies from spreading to the rest of the world.

The story takes them through treacherous landscapes, from the scorching deserts of North Korea to the crowded streets of Seoul. Along the way, they encounter new characters, including a grizzled Korean-American soldier and a resourceful young nurse who becomes a valuable ally.
