With a reported budget of $84 million, the film stars Jamie Kennedy as Tim Avery, an aspiring cartoonist whose dog finds Loki's mask. The plot takes a bizarre turn when his infant son, Alvey, is born with the mask's powers, leading to a chaotic battle with the Norse god of mischief, Loki, who wants his property back.
